Cartonization API for WMS, OMS and Custom Applications

The WiCartonize Developer API lets WMS, OMS, and custom stacks create the same packing plans as the UI—products and box libraries in REST, then POST /api/v1/pack with coordinates, utilization, leftovers, and explainability. For a commercial overview, see the Cartonization API landing page.

What you can call

Public gateway endpoints (tenant API key required):

• Products — search, create, update, deactivate SKUs with length, width, height, weight
• Boxes — maintain mailers and cartons with inner dimensions and max weight
• Pack — cartonize orders with stored itemId and/or inline dimensions
• Pack history — decision IDs for support and replay

Pack contract highlights

Master data is optional: mix catalog items and inline lines in one request. Invalid itemId returns ITEM_REFERENCE_NOT_FOUND—never silent fallback.

Resolve boxes from the request, a packing profile, or the active tenant library. Multi-box plans, weight limits, and leftovers are first-class.

Repeat the same requestId with an identical payload for idempotent retries.

Built for integrators

Dimensions are always public length, width, height (normalized to mm and grams internally). OpenAPI schema documents request and response shapes.

Starter plans and above include API access. Pair with embedded views for human verification.
